Let \(D\) be a subset of \(\mathbb{R}^2\) with non-empty interior. Suppose that a map \(f: D\mapsto D\) is line-to-line and satisfies \(f^2=id\). If \(f\) is not the restriction to \(D\) of an affine transformation of \(\mathbb{R}^2\), then \(f\) is called a \textit{pseudo-affine transformation}. As a main result the authors obtain the following theorem. Suppose that \(D\) is a convex subdomain of \(\mathbb{R}^2\). Then a map \(f\) is a pseudo-affine transformation if and only if there exists a \(g\)-triangle-reflection \(\Phi\) such that \(f=\Phi|_D\). The authors give a thorough account of \(g\)-triangular reflections.
