This paper deals with the existence and stability of periodic solutions to a class of nonlinear neutral functional differential equations which arises from a transmission line model. By means of Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem, the authors obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of asymptotically stable periodically stable solutions. The motivation of this paper is the difficulty encountered in the study of integrated electronic circuits which are composed of lossy transmission line and nonlinear resistive loads with exponential \(V-I\) characteristics. The authors also correct a result by \textit{V. G. Angelov} [Nonlinear Anal., Real World Appl. 8, No.~2, 579--589 (2007; Zbl 1152.94458)].
