An operator extension of Bohr's inequality (Q974690)

The classical Bohr inequality states that \(|z+w|\leq r|z|^{2}+s|w|^{2}\), where \(z, w\) are complex numbers, and \(r, s\) are a couple of conjugate numbers. \textit{M. P. Vasić} and \textit{D. J. Kečkić} [Math. Balk. 1, 282--286 (1971; Zbl 0219.26012)] gave a generalization of Bohr's inequality. The article under review establishes an operator extension of the inequality above, and some corollaries are obtained.
