A problem of optimal control of a linear system with lumped delays is considered. The role of control parameters is played by the initial and final time moments of the process as well as the control function that is a part of the right hand side of the system. The paper deals with quite a general performance criterion that contains a terminal and an integral summand depending on the control parameters. Using the well-known Ekeland-Temam theorem, the author proves two existence and uniqueness theorems for the optimal control problem consisting in minimization of the performance criterion.
