    Let \(X\) be a real Banach space, having dual \(X^*\) uniformly convex, such that \(X\hookrightarrow H\), \(H\) a Hilbert space, a continuous and dense embedding. In this paper, the variational inequality \[ \langle u'(t) + A(t) u(t) - f(t), u(t)-z \rangle \leq 0 ; \quad t\in (0,T) \] is studied, where the unknown function \(u(t)\), taking values on \(X\), is required to satisfy the time-dependent constraint \(u(t)\in K(t)\) for all \(t\in (0,T)\) and \(A(\cdot)\), \(K(\cdot)\) are \(m\)-accretive operators. Formulating the variational inequality as an evolution equation \[ u'(t) + A(t) u(t) + B(t) u(t)\ni f(t); \quad u(0)=u_0, \] with an \(m\)-accretive operator \(B(\cdot)\), sufficient conditions ensuring the existence and uniqueness of the solution \(u\) satisfying \(B(\cdot)u\in L^p((0,T);X)\), together with \(L^p\)-estimates of the solution, are given.
