The ``Laws'' is one of Plato's books, wherein we can read the great role mathematics played in his philosophy, together with many other works, as ``Timaeus'', ``Republic'', ``Parmenides'', etc. In the ``Laws'' Plato underlines, among other mathematical themes, the role of the number 5040, divisible for 59 numbers (among them all the integers from 1 to 10). This paper fancies some lines of the book as stating a simple theorem of prime number theory. However, the textual evidence, in my opinion, is very poor.
