About the solution of the even parity formulation of the transient radiative heat transfer equations (Q981980)

The paper presents an even parity formulation of the S2 approximation of the transient radiative transfer equations in the one-dimensional slab. The system models a physical problem of radiation heat transfer in a participating media. The existence and the uniqueness of the solution are studied. Also presented are a priori lower and upper bounds of the solution of the physical problem.
