Diamond's construction for the \(p\)-adic analogue of the function \(\log\Gamma \left( x\right) \) may be denoted by \(\text{Log}\,\Gamma_{D}\left( x\right) \) and satisfies the integro-differential equation \[ \int\limits_{\mathbb{Z}_{p}}f\left( x+t\right)\,dt=\left( x-1\right) f^{\prime }\left( x\right) -x+\frac{1}{2} \] for \(x\in\mathbb{Q}_{p}-\mathbb{Z}_{p}\) in the sense of Volkenborn integral. The author shows that this formula characterizes the function \(\text{Log}\,\Gamma_D\left( x\right)\), and together with the set of solutions of the homogeneous equation \[ \int\limits_{\mathbb{Z}_{p}}y\left( x+t\right)\,dt=\left( x-1\right) y^{\prime }\left( x\right) \] forms an infinite dimensional commutative and associative \(p\)-adic algebra under a specific product law. The author also considers Morita's \(\text{Log}\,\Gamma_M\) for similar results.
