Here is a new textbook at undergraduate level on relativistic quantum theory written in German, with an introduction to quantum theory for many-particle systems. This, indeed is an excellent collection of the essentials of the subjects treated in detail alongwith many examples, illustrations and exercises. There are 49 figures and a table. Feynman diagrams/graphs are freely used to illustrate the various interactions being considered. In the present latest book of 345 pages, quite fit for the class room use, there are 108 references, index of 3 pages, a foreward in 3 pages and 3 Appendices: first on the classical relativistic mechanics, second on postulates of non-relativistic quantum theory and the third on the representation of equations of electromagnetism. On the whole this very well-written work should find itself in the hands of every earnest learner of the quantum world, one of the inspiring and practically useful fields of study and research.
