Nice elongations of primary Abelian groups. (Q987144)

Let \(N\) be a nice subgroup of the Abelian \(p\)-group \(G\) and \(A=G/N\). This paper discusses the following question: if \(G\) satisfies some property then when \(A\) also satisfies the same property? The paper begins with an Introduction and Terminology and the main results are included in five sections. Results for \(n\)-summable groups, totally projective groups, CPS groups and \(\omega_1\)-separable groups, groups with nice bases and for almost totally projective groups are obtained. Many examples are given in Sections 1, 4 and 5. The obtained results decide the question for some special classes of Abelian groups.
