This work is concerned with complex codimension one distributions in complex \(n\)-space \({\mathbb C}^n\) defined by a complex linear one-form \[ \omega_A = \sum_{i=1}^n\left( \sum_{j=1}^n a_{ij}z_j\right) dz_i \] where \(A = (a_{ij})\) is a non-singular complex \(n \times n\) matrix, and with the resulting holomorphic codimension one foliation in case the distribution is integrable. Among the results obtained, the authors characterize the distributions defined by \(\omega_A\) which are transverse to the unit sphere \(S^{2n-1}\) in \({\mathbb C}^n\). In the integrable case, they characterize when the foliation defined by \(\omega_A\) has a Morse type singularity. In addition, they provide a canonical normal form for \(\omega_A\) when \(A\) is skew-symmetric. The paper concludes with a detailed study of a non-Morse type, non-linear holomorphic foliation of \({\mathbb C}^3\) defined by the Pham polynomial.
