This second edition of the well-known textbook is a corrected and extended version of the first one. Specifically, the chapter on extension and embedding theorems for Sobolev functions now contains an exact trace and extension theorem for \(H^{1,p}\)-functions and also a short introduction to real interpolation of Banach spaces and applications to the theory of Sobolev spaces. As for the rest, the reader is referred to the review of the first edition (2006; Zbl 1094.46001).
