On the derived functors of the third symmetric-power functor (Q991571)

Let \(R\) be a noetherian ring, \(I\) its ideal generated by a regular sequence of length \(d\), \(R\)-Mod the category of \(R\)-modules and \(\mathcal{P}_{R/I}\) the category of finitely generated projective \(R/I\)-modules. The first named author has calculated [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 353, No. 8, 3115--3147 (2001; Zbl 0980.13009)] the derived functors \[ G_k : \mathcal{P}_{R/I}\to R-\text{Mod} \] of the \(l\)th symmetric-power for \(d=1\) and \(l\) any positive integer, and when \(d=2\) and \(l=2\). In this paper, authors look at the case \(d=2\) and \(l=3\), and compute cross-effects of \(G_k\) as well.
