The authors revisit the \textit{Farey tail expansions} of elliptic genera. They present a considerable improvement of this expansion, the so-called \textit{new Fareytail expansion}. The authors argue that the new expansion is consistent with the OSV (= \textit{Ooguiri-Strominger-Vafa}) conjecture at strong topological string coupling. Then the appearance of holomorphic anomalies is discussed.
