The authors consider the anti-periodic problem \[ x^{\prime }(t)\in -\partial \phi (x(t))+\partial G(x(t))+f(t) \] for \(t\in \mathbb{R}\) in a real, separable Hilbert space \(H\). \(\phi :D(\phi)\subseteq H\to (-\infty ,\infty ]\) is assumed to be an even, proper, lower semicontinuous, convex function, \(G:H\to \mathbb{R}\) is even and continuously differentiable, \(\partial G\), the subdifferential of \(G\), is demi-continuous and bounded, and \(f:\mathbb{R}\to H\) is assumed to be continuous and satisfy \(f(t+T)=-f(t)\) for all \(t\in \mathbb{R}\). Under the condition that \(\partial G\) is of class \((S_{+})\), existence of a weak solution is proven. Next, existence of a weak solution is proven under the assumption that \(\partial G\) is pseudo-monotone. Both proofs make use of the Yosida approximation to \(\partial \phi \) and apply an existence theorem from [\textit{Y. Q. Chen, Y. J. Cho} and \textit{D. O'Regan}, Math. Nachr. 278, No.~4, 356--362 (2005; Zbl 1068.34059)]. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the use of the first of these two theorems.
