In this paper the author proves that, in the affine space \(A_3\), the family of ellipses, and the family of hyperbolae, are measurable. Their elementary measures are also provided. The results are carried out through the classical method, based on the study of the Deltheil's system. This is obtained from the coefficients of infinitesimal transformations of the group associated to the maximal group of invariance of the families in the parameter space
