The author studies large-time asymptotic behavior of solutions to a class of semilinear stochastic wave equations with damping on a bounded domain. The equations are of the type \[ \partial_t^2 u - Au+ 2\alpha \partial_t u = f(u)+\sigma(u) \dot{W} \] for trace-class noise \(\dot{W}\), where \(A\) is a strongly elliptic operator and \(\sigma\) and \(f\) are some nonlinearities. Using Galerkin approximation, energy inequalities and exponential bounds for a linear equation are established. Under appropriate conditions on the nonlinearities (locally Lipschitz, locally bounded, and dissipative), the existence of a unique global solution is shown. For the long-time properties, the author studies the existence of uniformly bounded solutions, the exponential stability of equilibria solutions in mean-square and almost sure sense, and the existence of an unique invariant measure.
