Partially hyperbolic diffeomorphisms of 3-manifolds with abelian fundamental groups (Q998856)

The study is a natural continuation of the paper [\textit{M. Brin, D. Burago} and \textit{S. Ivanov}, in: Modern dynamical systems and applications. Dedicated to Anatole Katok on his 60th birthday. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. 307--312 (2004; Zbl 1147.37321)], and here the authors obtain important improvements of their results. The authors show that there are no partially diffeomorphisms on the \(3\)-sphere. They also prove that for a partially hyperbolic diffeomorphism of a \(3\)-manifold with an abelian fundamental group, the induced action in the first homology group is partially hyperbolic.
