The authors study infinite dimensional rhombal algebras associated to Rauzy rhombal tilings. The paper develops techniques relating the infinite-dimensional Rauzy algebra to finite-dimensional algebras related to the finite portions of the complete tilting that occur in its construction. It turns out that there is a natural way of truncating infinite dimensional rhombal algebras by an idempotent associated to a finite portion, resulting in what the authors call the finite dimensional Rauzy algebras. The dynamics and combinatorics of Rauzy tilings allows the authors to answer many representation theoretic questions for Rauzy algebras. In particular, the authors identify modules with periodic orbits under application of the Heller operator which gives the authors a way to understand stable Auslander-Reiten quivers for Rauzy algebras. This is used to identify the tree classes and hence the graph structure of many components.
