Mathematical analysis of scattering problems for partially coated obstacles and cracks
From MaRDI portal
Mathematical aspects of scattering problems for an infinite cylinder with an open arc are considered for time-harmonic electromagnetic waves. The resulting Helmholtz equation is solved and the well-posedness of the solution to the direct scattering problem is established by the Fredholm theory and the boundary integral equation method.
