Meromorphic functions that share four values
From MaRDI portal
If two nonconstant meromorphic functions in the plane share three values ignoring multiplicity and share a fourth value counting multiplicity, it is a well-known conjecture that the functions share all four values counting multiplicity. The authors give a necessary condition for the conjecture to hold and also obtain an improvement on an earlier partial result of \textit{G. G. Gundersen} [Complex Variables, Theory Appl. 20, No.~1--4, 99--106 (1992; Zbl 0773.30032]]
