Modulo flows and integer flows in signed graphs
The authors of the paper focus on the connections between the modulo flows and the integer flows for the case of signed graphs. In particular, they extend the previously known results by showing that every flow-admissible signed graph with a nowhere-zero \(\mathbb{Z}_4\)-flow admits a nowhere-zero \(8\)-flow, while every bridgeless signed graph with a nowhere-zero \(\mathbb{Z}_5\)-flow admits a nowhere-zero \(7\)-flow. This, combined with previously known results, allows the authors to show that every flow-admissible signed graph with a nowhere-zero \(\mathbb{Z}_k\)-flow (where \(k\geq 2\)) admits a nowhere-zero \(2k\)-flow.
