Multidimensional state-space models: A comparative overview

The multidimensional state-space models such as Roesser's model, Fornasini's and Marchesini's model, Kung's model, Theodorou's model, Galkowski's model, Theodorou's and Tzafestas'model are considered and compared to each other. A canonical 3-dimensional state-space realization is considered. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of respective minimal state realizations are given.
