Multiple solutions to relativistic systems with potential boundary conditions
The authors investigated boundary value problems for two types of systems\N\[\N-[\phi(u')]' = \nabla_u F(t,u) \quad \text{in } [0,T],\N\]\Nand\N\[\N-[\phi(u')]' = \nabla_u F(t,u) + h(t) \quad \text{in } [0,T],\N\]\Ntogether with boundary condition\N\[\N(\phi(u')(0),-\phi(u')(T)) \in \partial j(u(0),u(T)),\N\]\Nwhere \(\phi(y) = y/ \sqrt{1 - |y|^2}\), \(j : R^N \times R^N \to R \cup \{\infty\}\) is convex and lower semicontinuous, \(F(t,u) : [0,T]\times R^N \to R\), \(h : [0,T] \to R^N\). Multiplicity results for these problems are obtained -- using critical point theory.
