Nonlinear analysis of solid-fluid coupling vibration
[For the entire collection see Zbl 0747.00027.] The solid-fluid coupling vibration has been studied, especially considering the boundary displacements caused by the influence of earthquake wave and the change of fluid surface. For fluid the boundary discrete form and for solid the finite element discrete form are taken. In the time domain the expansion in series in small parameters and difference method are used to find the dynamic response in whole domain. An example of water-dam system has been solved using this method, and the result has been compared with that of linear analysis.
