Nonlinear programming approach to automated topology optimization
From MaRDI portal
This paper presents an analytic approach to the optimization of the topology of rectangular functional blocks. A nonlinear optimization formulation is used. A penalty function approach converts the problem into an unconstrained optimization problem. A solution method is suggested and implemented in a computer program.
