Normal families concerning partially shared functions and differential polynomials
The authors study some normality criteria of a family of meromorphic functions. Denote by \(\mathcal{H}(D)\) the class of all holomorphic functions in the domain \(D\subset \mathbb{C}\), and denote by \(\sigma(S,T)\) the spherical distance between two sets \(S\) and \(T\) in \(\hat{\mathbb{C}}\). Let \(L[f]=\sum_{t=0}^k a_t f^{(k-t)}\) be a differential polynomial in \(f\), where \(a_t\in \mathcal{H}(D)\), \(a_0\ne0\). One of the results in this paper is the following. \N\NLet \(\mathcal{F}\), \(\mathcal{G}\subset \mathcal{H}(D)\) be two families such that all zeros of each \(f\in \mathcal{F}\) have multiplicities at least \(k+1\), where \(k\geq1\) is an integer.\NSuppose that for each \(f\in \mathcal{F}\), there exist \(\alpha_{if}\in \mathcal{H}(D)\), \(i = 1, 2\), such that\N\[\N\min\{\sigma(0, \alpha_{if}(z)), \sigma(\infty, \alpha_{if}(z)), \sigma(\alpha_{if}(z), \alpha_{jf}(z))\}\geq \varepsilon\N\]\Nfor some real number \(\varepsilon>0\) and \(1\leq i \ne j \leq 2\). Assume that \(\mathcal{G}\) is normal in \(D\) and for each \(f\in\mathcal{F}\), there exists \(g\in \mathcal{G}\) such that \(L[f](z)-\alpha_{if}(z)=0 \Rightarrow g(z)-\alpha_{if}(z)=0\), \(i=1, 2\).\NThen \(\mathcal{F}\) is normal in \(D\).\N\N The tools for the proofs are Nevanlinna theory and the Zalcman-Pang Lemma. Some examples are given.
