Normalization of rationally integrable systems

From MaRDI portal

The paper is a part of ongoing study of local normalization for analytic vector field near their singular points using a new geometric approach based on the torus actions. Normalization means Poincaré-Birkhoff (Poincaré-Dulac) normal form, which contains resonant monomials only. In the formal category, the problem is quite simple, but the convergency of normalizing formal series is a hard problem with a long history.\N\NAlthough there are many results obtained in this field (by Poincaré, Siegel, Bruno, Stolovich and many others), the author has contributed to this area. In his previous works, the author proved that the germ of analytic vector field near its singular point is analytically normalizable if and only if its associated torus action is analytic. In particular, the germ of analytically integrable vector field is analytically normalizable. In the present paper, this result is extended to rationally integrable vector fields in real or complex spaces.
