Das Hauptresultat der Arbeit ist das folgende: Es seien \(L\supseteq K\supseteq \mathbb{Q}\) Zahlkörper, die über \(\mathbb{Q}\) Galoissch sind. Der Grad \([K:\mathbb{Q}]\) sei ungerade und \(L/K\) sei eine unverzweigte 2-Erweiterung. Bewiesen wird, dass{} für jede nicht-zerfallende Gruppenerweiterung \((\varepsilon): 1\to \mathbb{Z}/2\mathbb{Z}\to E\to \text{Gal} (L/\mathbb{Q})\to 1\) eine Galoissche Erweiterung \(M\) existiert, derart dass die Folge \[ 1\to \text{Gal} (M/L)\to \text{Gal} (M/\mathbb{Q})\to \text{Gal} (L/\mathbb{Q})\to 1 \] zu \((\varepsilon)\) isomorph ist und \(M/L\) an allen endlichen Stellen unverzweigt ist. Als Anwendung werde eine abelsche \(l\)-Erweiterung \(K\) von \(\mathbb{Q}\) betrachtet, wo \(l\) eine ungerade Primzahl ist, deren Ordung modulo 2 ungerade ist und die Klassenzahl von \(K\) gerade ist. Gezeigt wird, dass eine an allen endlichen Stellen unverzweigte Galoissche Erweiterung \(M/K\) existiert, deren Galoissche Gruppe eine nicht-abelsche 2-Gruppe ist. Dadurch wird für diese Körper eine auf Fontaine-Mazur-Boston zurückgehende Vermutung betreffend die Galoissche Gruppe von unverzweigten 2-Erweiterungen nachgewiesen.
