Numerical code for magneto-plasma flows
Computations of high-enthalpy plasma flows include the electric discharge, the electron temperature and the conservation of species and vibrational energy. The equations describing the various physical phenomena are coupled by corresponding source terms. Here we present numerical results for two magnetoplasmadynamic (MPD) thrusters, an MPD-type plasma wind tunnel source, and a radio-frequency plasma source. The results of these thermal and chemical non-equilibrium computations are discussed and compared with experimental data. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0911.00029].
