Numerical integration formulas based on iterated cubic splines
From MaRDI portal
This paper concerns the Euler-MacLaurin integration formula. The derivatives \(f^{(m)}\) are approximated by the \(m\)th iterated cubic spline. Asymptotic error estimates for the iterated cubic spline and for the integration formula are deduced. Numerical examples illustrate the prescribed method.
