On some main problems of mechanics of continuous medium of variable mass
From MaRDI portal
Basis laws and main equations of motion for a single-phase continuous medium of variable mass are formulated. The solutions of some hydromechanical problems are presented. In particular, the problems of motion for a variable mass medium along the infinite channels and the problems of external streamline flow of bodies with permeable surface. The system of equations for the medium of variable mass interacting with electromagnetic field in nonrelativistic approximation is stated.
