Let \({\mathcal A}\) denote the class of all normalized functions \(f(z)= z+\sum^\infty_{n= 2} a_nz^n\), analytic in \(| z|< 1\). The radius result for various geometric properties concerning some subclasses of the class \(S\subset{\mathcal A}\) of univalent functions are obtained. Example: For \(f\in{\mathcal A}\) let \(\sigma_\alpha(f)\) be the largest number \(r\) such that \(\text{Re}\left[{zf'(z)\over f(z)}\right]> \alpha\) in \(| z|< r\) and let \[ g_\alpha(z)= \Biggl[{1\over 1-\alpha} \Biggl\{{z\over 1- z}+\alpha\log(1- z)\Biggr\}\Biggr]* f(z)= \sum^\infty_{n= 1}{n- \alpha\over 1-\alpha} {a_n\over n} z^n. \] Then \(\sigma_\alpha(f)\geq \left\{{1\over (\beta+ 2)\| g_\alpha\|^2_{D_\beta}}\right\}^{{1\over 2}}\) \((\beta>- 1)\), where \[ \| g_\alpha\|^2_{D_\beta}= \int \int_{| z|<1} (1-| z|^2)^\beta| g'(z)|^2d\lambda(z)= {\beta+1\over\pi} \int^1_0 \int^{2\pi}_0 (1- r^2)^\beta| g_\alpha'(re^{i\theta})|^2 r dr d\theta. \]
