On the extendability of parallel sections of linear connections
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Let be a vector bundle over a simply connected manifold and a linear connection in . Let be a -parallel section of defined on a connected open subset of . We give sufficient conditions on in order to extend to the whole . We mainly concentrate to the case when is a -dimensional simply connected manifold.
