On the stability of solutions to the system of classical elastodynamics
From MaRDI portal
This work is a study of stability of an elastic body in an unbounded domain. It is assumed that the medium is homogeneous, linearly elastic and isotropic. The elasticity tensor is strongly elliptic. The conditions for Lyapunov stability are stated in the form of two theorems.
