On the summatory function of the generalized von Mangoldt function
From MaRDI portal
The author gives an identity for the summatory function of the generalized von Mangoldt function \(\Lambda_{k} = \mu * \log^{k}\) as follows \[ \sum_ {n\leq x}\Lambda_ k(n)=xU_ k(\log x)+\alpha_ k+\sum_ {n\leq x}\mu(n) F_ k(x/n), \] where \(U_ k\) is the \(k\)th Appell polynomial of \(1/s\zeta (s)\) at 1, \(\alpha_ k\) is the \(k\)th derivative of \(1/[s(s-1) \zeta (s)]\) at 1, and \(F_ k\) is an Euler-Maclaurin type expression, for details see the original.
