The author shows how to calculate sums of the form \[ \sum^{n}_{k=1,k\neq j}(x_ j-x_ k)^{-m},\quad \sum^{n}_{k=1}x_ k^{-m}, \] recursively in m \((=1,2,...)\) where \(x_ k\), \(k=1,2,...,n\), are the zeros of a Bessel polynomial \[ y_ n(x)=\sum^{n}_{m=0}(n+m)![(n-m)!m!]^{-1}(x/2)^ m \] or of \(x^ ny_ n(1/x)\).
