Optimal sequencing of experiments in Bayesian group testing
From MaRDI portal
A Bayesian formulation of the group testing problem with testing error is considered. Under the assumption that testing errors follow a Bernoulli distribution, optimal sequences of experiments can be characterized. It is shown that an intuitive and appealing experiment selection rule eventually will select optimal sequences of experiments almost surely
