Abstract: We outline necessary and sufficient condition to the existence of extrmas of a function on a self-similar set, and we describe discrete gradient algorithm to find the extrema.
In the paper, the authors find local extrema of a continuous function defined on a fractal set, and outline necessary and sufficient condition to the existence of extremas of a function on a self-similar set, and describe a discrete gradient algorithm to find the extrema.
