Overdetermined fractional Serrin problem

In this work, a Serrin-type symmetry result is established for a class of degenerate elliptic operators that arise naturally in the theory of generalized axially symmetric potentials. The differential operator under consideration is given by\N\[\NL_a u=\partial_{rr}u+\frac{a}{r}\partial_r u+\Delta_y u,\N\]\Nwhere \(a\geq 0\) denotes the fractional parameter.
