Overlapping block methods for solving tridiagonal systems on transputer arrays
From MaRDI portal
A simple extension of the block Jacobi iterative method for systems of algebraic equations to an overlapping block structure is proposed. Also numerical results tested on a Meiko computing surface using up to 16 computing elements (T414 transputer) are given.
