Pascal-like matrix with double factorial binomial coefficients
The purpose of this article is to study a bivariate polynomial including double factorial binomial coefficients. Recursive relations and matrix forms as well as inverse and the power of the matrix form are proved. The proof uses mathematical induction. The eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenvectors are then computed. Similar matrices as in the Pascal matrix papers are then used to prove similar results. Then, factorization formulas are proved. Finally, a generalization of the Pochhammer symbol is used to study a Pascal-like functional matrix.
