Polygonal presentations of semisimple tensor categories.
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Free products of semisimple tesnor categories are constructed with the help of polygonal presentation. The semisimplicity criterion is obtained for the Bisch-Jones' planar algebras as a byproduct.
The author presents a polygonal description of semisimple tensor categories. This kind of geometrical presentation of tensor categories is useful in actual computations to get perspectives. The author analyses the rigidity as well as the associated involutions in terms of this polygonal description.NEWLINENEWLINE The author has insisted throughout on an elementary technique that reveals a great deal more about the situation at hand. The paper leads to a very highly polished presentation.
