Polynomial representations of Legendre functions
From MaRDI portal
Legendre functions \(P_\nu(x)\) and \(Q_\nu(x)\) are expressed in terms of Chebyshev polynomials \(T^*_n(x)\) and the Chebyshev coefficients are obtained as functions of \(\nu\). These expressions are used to calculate approximations to the coefficients.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0963.00027].
