Positioning systems. A unified approach

From MaRDI portal

This monograph outlines a formula for describing positioning systems (in particular: wave-based positioning systems) and makes attempts to develop a unified theory of this class of systems. The eight chapters of the book refer to the capacity of positioning systems, optimization, coding and decoding, use of estimation theory and some overall conclusions with several hints for possible further research. The theoretic material is illustrated by various instructive examples.
