The author studies the integrodifferential equations \(x'(t)+p(t)\int^ t_ 0K(t-s)x(s)ds=0\) and \(x'(t)+q(t)\int^ t_{-\infty}K(t-s)x(s)ds=0\) where \(p,K\in C([0;\infty),[0;+\infty))\), \(q\in C((- \infty;\infty),[0;+\infty))\). Some necessary conditions and also sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions of these problems are obtained.
