Positivity of operators derived from operator monotone function
From MaRDI portal
In this interesting paper, the authors propose and prove an extension of the arithmetic-geometric inequality, by showing that if \(A,B\) are positive operators on a Hilbert space such that \(AB^{-1}+BA^{-1}\) is a self-adjoint operator, then \(AB^{-1}+BA^{-1} \geq I.\) Certain specific applications of this result involving operator monotone functions are derived, generalizing some recent results.
