The note under review is an addendum to the author's paper [ibid. 37, 205-213 (1985; Zbl 0569.20039)]. It is proved that a non-trivial pseudo- mitotic group is not finitely generated. This implies that e.g. the Higman group is acyclic but not pseudo-mitotic since it is finitely generated.
