Average number of options nondominated with respect to a binary relation
From MaRDI portal
(Redirected from Publication:1067708)
We consider the problem of finding the mean of the number of nondominated options in an independent random sample of a given size. The key to our approach is the distribution function of the random measure of the upper cone. The mean is shown to be typically a power of the sample size.
