Comparison of dichotomous and polytomous response models
From MaRDI portal
(Redirected from Publication:1082020)
It is shown that there is a definite gain in Fisher information by using the polytomous response model instead of the dichotomous model for estimating the parameters and percentiles. A simulation study is performed to compare the 3-response model and 2-response model in small sample situations.
